Halloween

This year the kids dressed up as Rapunzel and Lightning McQueen.  I attempted to recreate Kira's hairstyle from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  I think it turned out pretty good for someone who has very little skill and experience with hair styling!  They had a great time going around our neighborhood, despite a steady drizzle throughout the evening.

Here are some memories I jotted down after our night of trick or treating:

Logan was really excited to receive fruit snacks.

We saw two huge frogs the size of my fist.

Kira fell twice, she hasn't mastered the skill of watching where she walks.

Logan kept pushing Kira out of the way to get candy (not intentionally).

Logan was really excited to receive fruit snacks.

Kira pretended to be sleeping on the walk home but was wired after bath time.

It sprinkled lightly most of the evening.

Both kids were very polite!

The kids loved looking at jack o lanterns but weren't interested in helping Jeff when we were carving our own.

Grandma taught Kira how to make Kleenex ghosts.
