A Snowy Winter

We have seen a lot of snow this winter.  We didn't always go out in play in it, especially if there was only a little bit or if it was colder than 20 degrees (which happened a lot!).

Our biggest snowstorm dropped about a foot of snow.  We played in the snow for two days and had a great time.  This was the first year we were able to do some sledding and the kids loved it.  Our yard is pretty flat so to sled we have to walk over to the community playground or drive to Papa's house.

Kira had fun making snowmen and Logan got a kick out of throwing snowballs at everyone.

My favorite part of each snowstorm was watching the snow fall from inside our house and coming back inside from playing outside and drinking hot chocolate!

This was our first snowy winter in our current house.  I was happy to discover that our HOA is really good at keeping the streets plowed.  Our driveway is about twice the length of a normal driveway but Jeff did a great job keeping up with the shoveling.
