8 Days in Paradise!

Jeff and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by heading back to Jamaica, where we had our honeymoon. After a LOT of research, I finally picked a resort to go to. We stayed at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay. It did not disappoint, it was amazing.

We splurged and went for an oceanfront room and ended up with quite possibly the best room in the resort (aside from the presidential suite). I knew from all of my research to ask for an upper floor, corner room for the best view. Luckily, one was available and it was even positioned for a view of the sunset each evening.

Everything was perfect about the resort. It was beautiful, peaceful, the food was incredible, and the employees were so friendly and helpful. We had a butler that got us whatever we wanted and left special surprises and decorated for Jeff's birthday and our anniversary.

Here was a typical day for us:

-Breakfast in bed or on our balcony
-Morning at the beach - walking along the water, swimming, and reading under palapas
-Lunch at the restaurant on the beach
-Afternoon at the pool
-Late afternoon snack on balcony while watching the sunset
-Dinner at some of the best restaurants I've ever been to
-Check out the evening entertainment or go and relax on a bed by the pool because we were so stuffed

The best part of the trip was that Jeff and I had eight long days to spend together and relax. I am so thankful for our marriage and look forward to future trips together.

When we checked in, the lady at the front desk told us that we would be back. She's probably right. We can't wait to go back although that depends on when my parents will be willing to babysit again!
