I was so glad that the weather was nice outside for two reasons. One, we were able to keep Finley outside in the backyard most of the day so he wouldn't get into everything. Two, the kids got new outdoor toys so they were able to enjoy them that afternoon!

My favorite gift was a fitbit from my sister. It was a total surprise and I love using it each day. Jeff's favorite presents were socks and a Star Wars T-Shirt. It doesn't take much to make him happy these days. Logan's favorite toys were another guitar, a microphone, and a giant Grave Digger monster truck. Kira got enough arts and crafts to keep her busy for the whole year. Her big present was a new bike. She had been learning how to ride her old bike without training wheels but was still shaky. She's doing so great on her new bike and doesn't need much help at all. It will be nice to get out and ride more when the weather gets nicer.

New Microphone and Bike
We finished up the day with a big dinner and playing a new family game. The kids also spent a lot of time singing in the microphone at the tops of their voices. Uncle Jeremy said it was the most he's ever heard Logan talk (sing)!
