Valentine's Day Events

We did a few things to celebrate Valentine's Day this year.  Our first event was the MOPS Pancake breakfast.  The kids had a great time and our family most likely ate the most pancakes (as usual).  I think Kira might have actually eaten more than Jeff this time.

Kira had a Sweets and Treats Dance at school.  Kira and her friends had fun dancing to the music and doing a cake walk.  Even Logan joined in on the fun a little bit even though he didn't know anyone other than Kira.

Kira and Logan both had parties at school.  Kira decided that she did not want to buy valentines, but make her own instead.  She made elaborate valentines for each kid in her class and every valentine had a different design.

Jeff and I went out on a date the night before Valentine's Day so we decided to recreate our favorite meal at Maggiano's with the kids on V Day.  It turned out really well but was a lot of work.  We had spinach artichoke dip, caesar salad, Rigatoni D, and a molten chocolate lava cake.
