Disneyland!

In March we went on a surprise trip to Disneyland!  We woke the kids up early on a Sunday morning and told them that we were going on a trip but we wouldn't tell them where.  When we got to the airport we gave them an Olaf puzzle to complete at the gate.  Once it was put together, we flipped it over and it told them we were going to Disneyland!

After a long flight, we drove to Anaheim and checked into the Candy Cane Inn.  We were hanging around the hotel and who came up the steps but our long lost friends!  We had planned to do the trip together but the kids didn't know about this (although Kira had her suspicions after she heard me mentioning their name at check-in).

Our first evening we went to Downtown Disney for dinner and did a fun Disney Easter Egg Hunt.

 

The next three days we spent at the two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure.  We had a great time and liked it just as much as Disney World.  Unfortunately, Logan had croup for most of the trip but he never wanted to go back to the hotel to rest.  We ended up renting a stroller for him the last two days and that helped him to conserve his energy.  We didn't get much sleep in the hotel room each night as he coughed a lot.  Our favorite rides were Hyperspace Mountain, Star Tours, and Radiator Springs Racers.
