Land of Candy

This year we had a joint birthday party for Kira and Logan since their birthdays are 6 weeks apart and they are still young and let their mom pick out the party theme.  I got the idea for a Candy Land party close to two years ago when they featured the idea in Parents Magazine.  Kira likes to play the game and Logan likes to move the pieces and mess up the stack of cards.

Kira wore her Princess Lolly (from Candy Land) costume and Logan wore a candy cane shirt.  I searched high and low in every children's apparel store and online the last two months for a candy shirt for Logan and didn't find one until the Christmas shirts showed up in stores.

Kira and Logan had fun at the party with friends and family.  We had lunch, tried to break a pinata, played musical squares, and had cake.  I had a great time planning the party and pulling out my creative side which I usually don't have time for.
