We went to Baker Beach to explore and enjoy a picnic lunch. The beach was pretty empty because of the cooler (but sunny) weather. The kids loved digging in the sand and getting their feet wet. The scenery was gorgeous and we could see the Golden Gate Bridge to our right and enormous mansions to our left.
After some quiet time at the house we headed out for a pre-dinner treat. Lauren took us to a cool ice cream shop that sold dirt cheap ice cream sandwiches. I had an ice cream sandwich with salted caramel ice cream and fresh and hot snicker doodle cookies on the outside. Delicious, and only $2.50!
