Half Birthdays

We celebrated Kira and Logan's half birthdays the past two months, mostly because Logan's birthday is so close to Christmas and because it's another excuse to eat a special dessert!  We usually get the kids a couple of small gifts, especially ones they can use during the summer.

Kira received a fishing pole, books, and new plates.  She asked for a watermelon cake.  The cake was way too sweet but Kira had fun on her first fishing lesson with Papa.  She didn't catch anything except for a branch.

Logan got a butterfly net, boat for the pool, and outdoor baseball bases.  He had Key Lime Pie for his special dessert.  His new obsession is Nascar and car races so he spent the afternoon doing toy car races with Papa.
