First Days of School

It's been a big week for our family.  Kira started kindergarten and Logan started preschool!

Kira loves her new teachers and school.  She loves riding the bus, meeting new kids, and going to specials like library and P.E.  She will have art on Monday and I have a feeling that will become her favorite special at school.  I'm surprised by how much she is able to tell me after school each day.  I was able to volunteer in the library during her class's library time and enjoyed getting to know the kids.  I'll be able to volunteer for this every week.  On Monday I will be volunteering in the cafeteria during lunchtime.

Logan had his first day of preschool today and was so excited.  His teacher is so nice and sweet and he feels very comfortable with her.  His class has only ten kids and there is also a teaching assistant.  I have a feeling it is going to be a great year for him.  He is becoming less shy with adults and kids and has very few problems separating from me these days.
