The best part of the afternoon was when all of the girl scouts were invited up on the stage to learn a dance from the ballet. Kira learned a dance from the Waltz of the Snowflakes.

The Nutcracker
My mom and I took Kira to see The Nutcracker for the first time a couple weekends ago. We got discounted tickets through her Girl Scout's troop leader. We sat with one of Kira's friends from Girl Scouts and her mom. Kira did really well throughout the full length production and loved it. The costumes and dancing were great. Next time we'll take her to see it at the Warner Theatre in DC.
