As we crossed over into Massachusetts, I hopped in my parents' car and took them to Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary. We took the kids there last year and loved our nature walk by the ocean and through a wetland. The weather was not as nice this time around but we still enjoyed a chance to get out of the car and enjoy nature.

Grandma and Papa took a walking tour of Plymouth and the religious history the next morning. Jeff and I took the kids for a walk/run on the Cape Cod Canal.

I can't believe they still fit in this wagon!
Going under the bridge
After the canal, we went to meet Grandma and Papa as their tour finished at the Jenney Museum. We found a very familiar looking pilgrim at the museum.

And of course, a stop at Plymouth Rock!
Downtown Plymouth
Our other must-do in Plymouth was a hike down to Ellisville Harbor Beach. We went at sunset and it was a beautiful evening! It was high tide so we didn't see shark rock (it was submerged) but we had fun picking out beautiful, big stones to bring home and use as doorstoppers or place in our gardens.
