Beach House

After spending two days in Plymouth, we packed up the cars again and headed across the bridge to the Cape.  The beach house we rented for the week was in Harwich Port, just under one hour from Plymouth.

Jeff, the kids and I left early in the morning so we could take advantage of the perfect beach weather. The house was still being cleaned but we were able to go out on the beach until it was done.  We were so excited to get inside and check it out a little while later.  The best thing about the house was all of the huge windows on the side facing the ocean.  You really could enjoy the beach from the house or down on it.  We had a bedroom facing the ocean and I loved listening to the waves each night as I fell asleep.

There aren't a lot of restaurants on the Cape with water views but we decided that nothing could top our view as we ate on the oceanfront deck.
