The reason we planned this vacation on the Cape was to celebrate Pat and Richard's 50th anniversary. They always wanted to live in a house next to the ocean and while they lived within walking distance of the ocean for many years, it was never oceanfront. So that's how we ended up staying at this beach house for the week.
We celebrated the anniversary in the middle of our week at the beach. All of the family and their closest friends came to celebrate. We had a cookout and relaxed. The weather was beautiful but that was probably the worst day for the seaweed. The night ended with fireworks just down the beach from us.
