Preschool!

It has been a big week for Kira!  On Tuesday she went to Prince of Peace to meet her new teachers and today she had her first official day of preschool!  She will attend school this year every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9-11:45 a.m.  She is in the Polar Bears class.

Kira's teacher is Mrs. Mullins and the teacher's aide is Mrs. Schultz.  Both teachers are very friendly and have made Kira feel very welcome.  Kira had the best time today and is looking forward to the rest of the school year.  She did not miss me one bit but I will admit that I shed a few tears after leaving her classroom.  On the way home today she told me that she played with the water table, painted a picture, dressed up in two dresses, listened to the teacher read a book, and had cheese and crackers for a snack.
