Busy, Busy Day!

As Kira would say these days, we had a super duper busy day on Sunday!  We started the day early with waking the kids up and taking them downstairs to see the mess the leprechaun had made of the house.  The kids also enjoyed a special breakfast for St. Patrick's Day.

After breakfast we headed to church for a special event - Jeff and I were getting baptized!  The baptism was a very neat experience and we were both happy that we chose to do publicly make this statement of our faith in God.  Jeff was baptized first and then he was able to assist the pastor in baptizing me.

In the afternoon we dropped off Logan at Grandma's house and took Kira to a movie as a reward for good behavior.  I had received free passes to an advance screening of The Croods.  The movie was surprisingly good and Kira enjoyed her first 3-D experience.

Sunday evening we met up with the whole family to celebrate my dad's birthday.  We went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner and had a great time.
