4th of July

We had a very relaxed 4th of July holiday this year.  The kids participated in our neighborhood's first parade.  We took their fireworks artwork and taped it to their wagon for decorations.  Jeff pulled them in the wagon.  It was a cute activity and the kids all got popsicles at the end.

After our neighborhood parade we went to a bigger parade in Lorton.  We've been doing this parade since Kira was a baby.  I like it because it is close and there is plenty of parking!  We met up with the Yangs and Grandma and Papa.  The little boys liked all of the vehicles in the parade and the three older kids had fun on the moon bounce.  Kira and Logan had their first snow cones and they made a huge mess.

The kids took their naps and then we went out for dinner and frozen yogurt.  We let them stay up late to do some fireworks in the driveway.  They had fun watching them but our dinky Target fireworks were quickly upstaged by all of the illegal fireworks going off up and down the street.
