Kira absolutely loved school! She had wonderful teachers and the kids in her class were all very sweet and got along well. Kira's teacher said that she is great at being friends with other kids and always made sure everyone was included. This did not surprise me as she has always had a very caring and loving personality. Some of Kira's favorite things to do at preschool were dress up, painting and crafts, role play, and listening to stories. Her teacher told us many times that Kira showed a lot of talent in her artwork for her age and asked if there were any artists in the family. We are a creative family, but I wouldn't call any of us artists. I'm hoping to enroll Kira in some art classes in the future.
Next year she will attend preschool for three days a week. This summer we are working on developing her reading and writing skills. She loves to do workbooks!
At the end of the school year, Kira's teachers gave her a CD that had all of the pictures taken throughout the year. I also took all of her old newsletters, papers, and photos and made a little scrapbook of her first year. We took pictures of all of her artwork and I hope to make a Shutterfly book to display all of it in one (small!) place.

Aww, what sweet memories and pics! And what a great idea to make her art into a photo book!
