Chocolate Tour

My mom and I spent one Sunday afternoon in Georgetown on a walking chocolate tour.  It was a fun girl activity and nice to try some new sweets.  I never thought it was possible to have too much chocolate (my idea of a sundae is chocolate ice cream, a brownie, and hot fudge!) but I was feeling pretty gross by the end of the tour.  It was a hot day for walking, but it was nice to explore some parts of Georgetown that are off the beaten path.

We went to 7 stores:

Sprinkles Bakery - Mini Cupcake
Godiva - Piece of Dark Chocolate Bar
Thomas Sweet - Chocolate Fudge (my favorite sample of the day!)
Marvelous Market - Chocolate Babka Bread
Fleurir - Salted Caramel Truffle (voted one of the top 10 truffle shops in the USA)
Dean & Deluca - PB&J Truffle
Pie Sisters - Mini Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

 Yummy and Fancy Truffles

 PB&J Truffles

Mini Pie - Wishing it was bigger!

 Delicious Fudge

 Mini Cupcake
