A New School Year

Kira started her second year of preschool last week.  She is at the same school but has a new teacher and a new class.  As soon as we found out she was going to be in the Ladybug Class, Grandma got online and found some new ladybug outfits for her.

On Tuesday she went to an Open House to meet her teacher.  She painted and colored a ladybug picture with markers.

 On Thursday she had her first full day of school.  This week she will go all three days (Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday morning).  I was happy to see Kira jump right in at school as if she had never left last Spring.  I think she will have a great year and I'm thankful for this extra time with her before Kindergarten.
