Halloween was a busy day for us. Both kids had parties that morning and of course I was a crazy mom that volunteered for both. First I stopped by Kira's school to see her in the book character parade (she was Pinkalicious). Then I helped her classmates decorate cookies as jack o lanterns.
Logan's class had a party with food, games, and a costume parade. He dressed up as Spiderman and loved the whole party.
I decided to be crazy (again) and head to Springfield Town Center for their trick or treating at 3:30 since Kira's school got out early. It was fun to do but probably wore out the kids.
By the time it got dark and we were ready to do actual trick or treating, Logan was pretty much done with candy and costumes. It took a LOT of convincing, but we finally got him out the door (wearing regular clothes with a sword and shield) and once he joined Kira he had a great time trick or treating. Kira fell while trick or treating for the third row in a year. Jeff stayed at home to hand out candy and did a Frozen count.
