Kira Turns 6!

Kira turned 6 this month and we had a fun time celebrating.  The Saturday before her birthday we went to the American Girl store and Grandma and Papa bought her a doll.  She picked out one that looked like her (light skin, caramel hair, and blue eyes) and named her Charlotte.

After purchasing her big birthday present, we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

On Kira's actual birthday she got to celebrate at school and at home.  I made cupcakes and brought them in for her class.  I also brought her a happy meal at lunchtime.  Her class had just finished learning/reviewing the alphabet so we thought it would be fun to make ABC cupcakes.

Kira picked some of her favorite food for dinner.  We dined on a gourmet meal of hot dogs, mac n cheese, curly fries, and broccoli.  For dessert we had ice cream pie.
