Disney Day 3

On our third day we went to the Magic Kingdom.  The morning started out nice but things took a turn for the worse as it started to rain.  It poured the rest of the day, I think the area received around 2 inches of rain.  By the end of the day I was cold from being so damp.  We had a lot of ponchos and some umbrellas but we all ended up wet, along with the strollers.

Despite the nasty weather, we still got to see and do a lot.  The kids met Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, and Aurora.  Logan and Kira's favorite rides were Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Under the Sea (a Little Mermaid ride).

For dinner we took a boat to the Wilderness Lodge to eat at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  The food was family style bbq.  There were a bunch of different meats, sides, and cobbler for dessert.  I was excited about the caramel milkshakes that counted as a drink for the dining plan.  The restaurant was loud and chaotic and kind of a pain to go to so I'm not sure we'll go there again.
