Disney Day 7

On our last full day we headed back to Epcot.  In the morning we rode rides and for the rest of the day we headed to The World Showcase to enjoy the first day of the Food and Wine Festival.  We had a lot of snack credits leftover from earlier in the week so we used those to get samples from the different booths (they have booths from all over the world and not just the featured countries that are always there).

The Finding Nemo Ride was cute!

 Can you find us?

The kids didn't seem to mind that we weren't doing a lot of rides or things for them.  Logan was even shouting repeatedly, "Best day ever!" as we walked through the crowds.

We ate lunch in Morocco and I had my first taste of yummy baklava!  We didn't have dinner reservations anywhere (since we used two dinner credits to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table) so we just filled up on all of the festival samples.  Some of the things we ate were lobster tail with garlic butter, wild mushroom beef filet mignon with truffle butter sauce, orange dole whip (not as good as the pineapple), crispy pork belly with black beans, onions, avocado and cilantro, and an oatmeal caramel apple cookie (gobs of thick caramel all over the top!).

Beef Empanada and Grilled Beef Skewer with Chimichurri Sauce and Boniato Puree (my fave!)

We got the kids Mickey Mouse ice cream bars for a treat before leaving the park.  Half of Logan's ice cream melted all over him.  Kira had a bad scrape on her chin from swimming the night before (she still has a little mark on her chin).
