Disney Day 4

We spent our fourth day at the Animal Kingdom and it was a special day because it was Emma's birthday!  It looked like it was going to be another rainy day but thankfully the sun came out later in the afternoon.

This was the favorite park for many of the people in our family.  I really enjoyed The Lion King show which I'd never seen before.  We also took the train to Rafiki's Planet which was a first for me.  You definitely have different priorities when traveling with kids.  The animals were very active on the safari ride this time, probably because it was drizzling and cool outside.

For dinner we went to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and ate at Boma.  We loved this resort and going to see the animals in the savannah behind the resort was so neat.  I would consider staying there in the future.  The restaurant was a buffet featuring African food and was my favorite meal of the week, yum!  Emma and I got Mickey Birthday treats at the end of the meal.

After dinner, we went back to our resort and let Emma open some presents.  Then it was time for a late night swim in the Finding Nemo Pool.
